Haines Hunter has launched the latest addition to its popular Enclosed range, the all-new 700 Enclosed and Bay City Marine was there to check it out.
Measuring 7.2m LOA, beam 2.50m, and with a hull-only weight of 1500kg, the Enclosed flagship is a serious ocean-going vessel with a transom rating up to a massive 400hp, in single- or twin-engine configuration. The vessel pictured with twin rig weighed in at 2950kg.
Incorporating Haines Hunter’s 21° Performance Deadrise Vee (PDV) hull, the 700 Enclosed delivers superior performance and handling – proven during rigorous testing in both inshore and offshore conditions. The hull incorporates built in trim tabs, for further control and comfort in big seas. The wraparound windscreen, stylish and functional hard top is noted to the best in the industry, coming from the 675 Hard Top which won Australia’s Greatest boats in 2015.
Capable of fishing seven large adult anglers in comfort, the enormous cockpit and standard side door creates an ideal offshore fishing and diving platform, while the huge cabin bunk length of 1.88m provides a welcome escape from the elements or a cavernous storage area for all manner of gear.
Along with all of the standard fishing features for which Haines Hunter is renowned – 50mm supports to the Hard Top make it tough and ridged, wide side pockets, in floor fish well of 500lt and more – the Haines Hunter 700 Enclosed dash (capable of housing two large marine electronic displays), extra long-range 360L fuel tank and twin live bait tanks will strike a particular chord among experienced anglers.
Drawing on 58 years of boat manufacturing experience, Haines Hunter’s build quality and attention to detail is second to none. Only premium quality materials and fittings are used throughout, with all hulls backed by a seven-year structural warranty.
Bay City Marine is proud to be one of the first dealerships in Australia to sell one of these awesome fishing platforms, for more information please call 07 4128 9944
